MOWER family

I recently did some checking up on the MOWER family for a friend of mine. Here is part of the report:
Descendants of William Ezra MOWER

First Generation

General Notes: In 1910 William and his families were living and farming in Milburn, Sanpete Co., UT. William was living in Milburn, Sanpete Co., UT at the time of his death. He died of myocarditis. His death certificate states he was buried in the Fairview UT cemetery, but the UT burial database doesn't have a record of it.

William married Emily Rebecca STEWART,2 daughter of James STEWART and Elizabeth HOOPES, on 6 Jun 1875 in Fairview, Sanpete Co., Utah, USA. Emily was born on 12 Oct 1857 in Provo, Utah Co., Utah, USA, died on 30 Jan 1926 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah, USA at age 68, and was buried on 2 Feb 1926 in Fairview Cemtery, Sanpete Co., Utah, USA.

General Notes: In 1910 Emily MOWER was living with her husband and children in Milburn, Sanpete Co., UT. Emily died as a result of an auto accident. She was struck by an automobile, fracturing her left humerus and bruising her hand and left eye. She died of shock. The accident took place at 8th South and State Street, Salt Lake City, UT. Emily is buried in Fairview LOWER Cemetery, plot #L3-32-1a.

General Notes: In 1910 William and his family lived in Milburn, Sanpete Co., UT and farming on the family farm, along with William's father and his families. On September 12, 1918 William signed his World War I draft registration card. At that time he was living in Bluebell, Duchesne Co., UT and farming for himself. In 1920 he was living with his family in Bluebell, Duchesne Co., UT. In 1930 he and the family were living in Altonah, Duchesne Co., UT. William was living at Mt. Emmons, Duchesne Co., UT at the time of his death. He is buried in plot #L31-S3.

William married Emma Henrietta CHRISTENSEN,7 daughter of Andrew CHRISTENSEN and Caroline C. SANDSTROM, on 3 Jun 1901 in Sanpete Co., Utah, USA.8 Emma was born on 1 Aug 1882 in Fairview, Sanpete Co., Utah, USA, died on 30 Jun 1954 in Craig, Moffat Co., Colorado, USA at age 71, and was buried in Bluebell Cemetery, Duchesne Co., Utah, USA.

General Notes: In 1910 Emma MOWER was living with her family on the family farm in Milburn, Sanpete Co., UT. In 1920 she was with the family in Bluebell, Duchesne Co., UT. In 1930 she was with the family in Altonah, Duchesne Co., UT. Emma's father was Danish and her mother was Swedish. Emma is buried in plot #L31-S2.
20 M i. Kenneth Leroy MOWER9 was born on 16 Mar 1902 in Utah, USA and died on 5 Aug 1963 in Price, Carbon Co., Utah, USA at age 61.
General Notes: In 1910 Kenneth was living and working on the family farm in Milburn, Sanpete Co., UT. In 1920 he was living with his parents in Bluebell, Duchesne Co., UT. Kenneth purchased a commercial building on Main Street in Price, Carbon Co., UT, constructed in 1922 by Charles Bertolino. The building had the Athens Restaurant and the Krissman Shoe repair Shop. The Piggly Wiggly store was also in this building. It was purchased by Kenneth for a clothes cleaning business and sold to John Skerl in 1965 for storage.


21 M ii. Clifton MOWER10 was born on 13 Aug 1905 in Milburn, Sanpete Co., Utah. USA, died on 29 Mar 1914 in Bluebell, Duchesne Co., Utah, USA at age 8, and was buried in Bluebell Cemetery, Duchesne Co., Utah, USA.

General Notes: In 1910 Mattie was living with her parents in Milburn, Sanpete Co., UT. In 1920 Lucile was living with her parents in Bluebell, Duchesne Co., UT. In 1930 Lucile WALL was living with her husband and children at Mt. Emmons, Duchesne Co., UT.

Mattie married Peter Nephi WALL,19 son of Joseph Penrod WALL and Emily Louisa WORKMAN, on 26 Nov 1925 in Mount Emmons, Duchesne Co., Utah, USA.20 Peter was born on 18 Aug 1905 in Mountain View, Uintah Co., Utah, USA and died on 23 Nov 1991 at age 86. Another name for Peter was Leonard WALL.

General Notes: In 1930 "Leonard" WALL and his family were living at Mt. Emmons, Duchesne Co., UT, where he was working as a general farm laborer. Peter's last known address was Altamont, Duchesne Co., UT.

Arnold was born on 15 Jun 1920 in Tabiona, Duchesne Co., Utah, USA, died on 14 Apr 2002 in Montello, Elko Co., Nevada, USA at age 81, and was buried on 20 Apr 2002 in Tabiona Cemetery, Duchesne Co., UT.

General Notes: Arnold loved to fly in his cessna airplane and build model airplanes. He loved his desert ranch in Montello, NV. He was a kind and loving familyh man, who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
